The Beginning

Hi,

Today is the beginning of a new time in my life. I am on a mission to become more health conscience and more healthy. I actually started looking into becoming more natural a few months ago mainly because of my health concerns. I have days when I can't even get out of bed to walk across the floor and it is severely interfering with my life. I have gone to the doctor and tests have been run but they say I am healthly, yet I feel terrible. I live in public housing and had been looking forward to moving out, that is until a year ago, I fell and hurt my leg. The job that I worked on was already on shaky ground because we may go to work and work an hour or 2 then they send us home for lack of work. So this could not have come at a worse time. There went the dream of moving out of the projects for now anyway. Don't get me wrong, I am greatful for just being able to have a place to live, but I am not used to living this way and I could see that my children that are still home were becoming comfortable with this way of life which is a mistake. Once you become comfortable with it, you stop reaching for higher heights.

So in the process of trying to find a way to make money, one of my myspace friends, Nita Dawson showed me information about Soul Purpose and I was sold when I saw that it was about being empowered and natural. I really have not been able to do the things I want to yet, but I know it is coming. Dorothy Norwood's song "There's Got To Be Rain" in Your Life for you to appreciated the Sunshine is more than true for me. But Shirley Caesar's " I Made It" is on my horizon.

When I saw Sonja's blog I was inspired and decided to start my own. I feel this will help me to be able to talk about my struggles and get it out. So thank you Sonja and you keep it up, I know you will make it through.
